In order for women to continue working, it was found that it is necessary to secure childcare, conditions for the workplace, and the cooperation of husbands in housework and childcare. Even if one of these is missing, it will be difficult for women to balance child-rearing and work. Moreover, it turns out that only a small percentage of women can obtain these conditions.

2015年の子ども子育て支援新制度導入、2016年の企業主導型保育の開始、2019年の保育料の無償化など、保育の状況は急速に変化し、保育施設と利用者も多様化している。また保育料無償化以降の保育の需要と供給がどう変化するのかも判然とせず、保育の全体像が見えにくくなっている。そこで本研究では第1に保育の全体像を供給側と需要側の両面から明らかにする。第2に無償化による保育ニーズの変容を把握する。第3に認可のみならず認可外施設も含めて保育の質向上が求められるなど、新しく生じている保育の課題も含めて検証する。第4に前述の研究によって得た保育の実態を踏まえ、今後の保育子育て支援制度の在り方について考察、政策提言することを目指す。
これらの研究に当たっては第１に自治体の抱える保育の課題を把握し、第２に多様な利用者の保育利用の実情について明らかにするとともに、第3に保育施設側への調査等も実施する。このことにより、保育行政の仕組みも射程に含めた有用な政策提言が可能となると考える。 -

夫と妻の就業の時間帯のパターンと推移を検証し、就業の時間帯を規定する要因や就業の
時間帯と家族形成、育児との関係を探ることを通じて、仕事と家庭の両立支援策について具
体的な提言を目指す。経済学の観点から就業の時間帯を分析した先行研究は少なく、誰が好
ましくない時間帯に就業しているのか、就業時間帯の違いによって家族形成や育児において
格差が生じているのかという問いに対する答えは十分には明らかになっていない。世帯の時
間の使い方に関する豊富な情報をもち、かつ繰り返し、大規模に実施されている政府の統計
調査の匿名データを使用し、夫と妻の就業時間帯の組み合わせを明示的に分析に加え、1)就
業の時間帯のパターンとその推移、2)そのパターンと推移が、どのような要因と関係がある
のか、3)夫と妻の就業の時間帯と子どもの保育の状態との関係、4)夫婦の就業時間帯の組み
合わせと、家事・育児時間との関係を検証する。 -

This research examines the characteristics of households whose children were admitted to certified nursery schools by conducting a questionnaire survey of all nursery-school applicants in a municipality facing an undersupply of nursery schools. The purpose has been to find out what kind of different situation between households whose children were admitted to certified nursery schools (“admitted” households) and those that were not (“rejected” households).
As a result, 1. The mother has been worried about the application for admission since she was pregnant and has been adjusting her employment according to the admission criteria of the local government. 2. Only about 75% of those who are already working full-time can enter a licensed nursery school. 3. t was found that the income and mental depression of the mother after that differed depending on whether or not her children could be admitted. -
