合法的に収集可能な個人情報に基づく小売・サービス業の科学的経営戦略に関する研究

様々な小売りやサービス業が，会員制度の導入により住所，氏名，年齢などの個人情報を取得し，この上で個々の会員の日々の購買データを合法的に取得しているのは周知の事実である．しかしそうした個人情報を戦略的に活用できている企業は少ない．本研究では，前述した個人情報を有効に活用するための科学的経営戦略の確立に貢献することを意図して，アパレル商品を扱う通信販売業や，ファッションブランドを扱う小売店舗がクイックレスポンスに対応する際の科学的管理手法を提案した．また，通信販売業とファッションブランド企業から，特定期間のデータの提供を受け，提案したモデルの有効性を検証するとともに，今後の課題も明らかにした．

新聞売り子問題における信用と見切り販売に関する研究

小売りにおける新聞売り子問題においては,品切れ費用の設定が困難であり,さらに現実には品切れ量の計測も困難であることを明らかにした.さらに消費者の参照価格が小売りの利益に及ぼす影響について考察するとともに,新聞売り子問題における最適営業時間の存在を示した.さらにはコンビニエンス・ストアにおける新聞売り子問題においては,廃棄費用の一部をフランチャイザーが負担することでサプライチェーンの最適化が可能であることも明らかにした.
