Unfolding the Genealogy of Twilight: On the Traces of the Poet Mari Hashimoto Invited

This essay was written in memory of my mother, the poet Mari Hashimoto, shortly after her passing in October 2024.
At the intersection of critical reflection and autobiographical narrative, it explores the possibility of writing as a mode of reencounter with the dead—particularly through the reading of poetic écriture from the 1960s and 1970s, composed before my birth.
Written in the quiet hours between midnight and dawn, the text also marks a personal turning point, signaling a shift from writing as analysis to writing as response.
Guided by the lingering echoes of pain of loss, memory, and the language left behind by a loved one, the essay constitutes an attempt to articulate an ontology of traces.File： 橋本真理追悼（イリプス11）号.pdf

Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) Training Workshop

Participated in and completed a one-and-a-half-day intensive training workshop on Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), which was open not only to licensed psychologists but also to researchers in the humanities.
The objective was to acquire practical interviewing skills for working with individuals who have experienced loss and trauma, particularly within the context of thanatology (the study of death and dying).
The training also aimed to enhance applied skills with a view toward integrating these methods into life planning education and philosophy education for children. -

[Workshop Report]
On February 24, 2025, we held a Philosophy for Children workshop under the theme of "Disappearance" (that is, "Loss").
The session was facilitated by guest instructors: director Tomoko Kawaguchi and actor Miho Inatsugu.
We conducted the workshop by combining philosophical dialogue with physical activities.
The activities included:
Experiencing "presence and absence" through a game of hide-and-seek
Creating clay objects and hiding them to explore notions of disappearance
Through playful activities, children naturally generated questions and engaged in lively, creative discussions.
After the workshop, many children commented:
"I want to study philosophy at Konan University!"
"When will the next workshop be?"
The workshop provided a space where children could experience the joy of learning and the excitement of philosophical inquiry through movement and play.
