ウェブ上に存在する大量のテキスト情報を有効活用し，金融テキストマイニング研究を推進するため，本調書では，2つのサブテーマについて研究計画を提案する．一つは速報性の高いニュースメディアやソーシャルメディアを基にした経済・金融分野におけるマーケットセンチメント分析であり，もう一つは異言語文書間の類似度推定に関する研究である．前者については，個別企業に関するニュース速報を基にミクロ的なセンチメントを判断し，大量に収集したマイクロブログを基にマクロ的なセンチメントを判断する．後者については，検索やクラスタリングなどのテキスト分析で用いられる基本的な尺度である文書間類似度に焦点をあて，ニューラル言語モデルおよびニューラル機械翻訳モデルを用いて，異なる言語で表現された文書間の類似度を推定する方法について研究を行う．両者を併用することで，言語の違いを越えた金融・経済関連データの分析を可能にする．

マイクロブログTwitterは，世界中の5億人のユーザの声（ツイート）で溢れている．この喧騒の中から，自分の興味に関する声を聞き分けるためには，高精度なマイクロブログ検索技術が必須である．本研究では，ユーザが検索した時点での情報の価値を重視したリアルタイム検索を基盤技術として確立することを第一の目的とし，その後，時空間的なテキストマイニングに取り組む．
